Net synergies herald the online exchange rate mechanism, August 2000

Dooyoo.co.uk, the UK's progressive consumer opinion platform has signed a deal with Surfmiles that establishes strong online synergies for both companies. Both websites offer rewards to their users by the utilisation of two unique systems. Dooyoo.co.uk rewards its users with dooyoo miles, for their online reviews of products and services, whereas Surfmiles rewards its users with Surfmiles for browsing and buying from selected sites.
The deal will enable the conversion of dooyoo miles to Surfmiles, meaning that the dooyoo reviewers will be able to convert their rewards to cash. Surfmiles will share the large amount of content available on the dooyoo site. Being a consumer-orientated site, Surfmiles has embraced the thriving opinion platform and is aiming to provide its users with a forum that is committed to impartial and honest reviews.

Surfmiles will also be accessible though the dooyoo.co.uk site with the utilisation of the Klick2fit technology that was invented by the consumer opinion portal. The companies have also agreed on joint online marketing promotions including newsletters and banners. Dooyoo.co.uk will join a network of more than 130 premier B2B and B2C websites, that are part of the Surfmiles platform, such as Amazon.com, BOL.com, Cdnow.com, Sony Music Direct and ToysRus.com.
